The Point Forward has compiled a list of the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to NBA courts. No surprise that the classic Celtics floor gets top prize.
A no-brainer, from the gorgeous shade of green to the leprechaun enclosed in concentric circles at center court — a logo designed by Red Auerbach’s brother. The parquet floor is obviously legendary, and the Celtics have wisely limited the typical intrusions arena name, team Web site, etc. to the baselines and sidelines. A beautiful, clean look.
Also, no surprise that the Cavs is one of the worst.
