Matco Tools Celebrates 40 Years And A Brand New Calendar Design in 2019

Matco Tools is a manufacturer and distributor of high quality professional automotive repair tools, diagnostic equipment, and toolboxes. In addition to these tools, Matco also creates an exclusive calendar to distribute to their customers each year. For this year's calendar, Matco contacted us to help them come up with a brand new design. Several photoshoots and lots of designing later, we're excited to finally reveal the finished project! Take a look at some of the photos and calendar details below.

Headquartered in Stow, Ohio, with a second location in Jamestown, New York, Matco Tools is owned by Fortive, a Fortune 500 company.

We took a trip out to Jamestown to do some on-site photography of the employees who work there. Using red, white, and blue backdrops, we photographed each employee and later turned the photos into a collage that, from afar, creates an image of the American flag. This design was one of our favorites!

Another image shot for the 2019 Matco Tools calendar. One of the biggest trade shows of the year is in Vegas, so of course we had to include it!

This shot features drag racing champion Antron Brown with the Matco Tools truck on a race track. While Antron Brown usually drives the Matco Tools Top Fuel dragster, he was just too fast for us to photograph. So, did we really race the Matco Tools truck with Antron Brown? ...We'll never tell.

Matco Tools is famous for its toolboxes, and customers love sharing photos of their prized Matco toolboxes! Hundreds of toolbox images from real customers were featured in this calendar.

All in all, this was a great collaboration and a lot of fun to work on. We're looking forward to continuing work with Matco Tools!
