Burger King and McDonald’s have b0th recently introduced a high-design restaurant prototype to the public. McD’z in France and BK in Singapore. Doesn’t say much for the American consumer, does it?

Patrick Norguet’s design, which as always hits the spot, uses contemporary white which he counterbalances with fun colours without falling for “toy” conventions like for example the storage elements with the painted metal boxes included in the base template.
The dining area is filled with stick-back chairs more usually found in English kitchens and metal-framed wooden dining tables inspired by camping furniture, while sofas upholstered with outdoor fabrics line the walls.
